Changed your router, Wi-Fi network or password? If your Tibber Pulse has lost its connection, you can reconnect it through the Tibber app.
When should I reconnect Pulse?
You may need to reconnect Pulse if:
- You've changed your Wi-Fi network.
- You've installed a new router.
- You've updated your Wi-Fi password.
- Pulse has lost its Wi-Fi connection.
How do I reconnect Pulse?
- Open the Tibber app.
- Go to Power-ups and select Tibber Pulse.
- Choose Reset Wi-Fi or Reconnect.
- Follow the instructions in the app to connect Pulse to your Wi-Fi network.
Important: Tibber Pulse only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, not 5 GHz.
My Wi-Fi network isn't showing up
If your network doesn't appear during setup, check that:
- Your router has a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network enabled.
- Your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- The Wi-Fi signal is strong enough where Pulse is installed.
Using a mesh network? Make sure your phone and Pulse are connected to the same access point during setup.
Pulse still won't reconnect
First, check that Pulse is receiving power and appears in the Tibber app.
If you're still having trouble, follow the troubleshooting steps in Pulse is offline.
If the problem continues, contact Support below or via the chat in the app.
Please include:
- The brand and model of your router.
- Whether you've recently changed your Wi-Fi network or router.
- The colour or blinking pattern of the Pulse LED.
