Not seeing live electricity consumption in the Tibber app, even though your Tibber Pulse is installed? First, check whether Pulse is online and receiving data from your electricity meter.
Check if Pulse is online
Open the Tibber app and check whether Pulse is showing as online.
If Pulse is offline, follow the troubleshooting steps in Pulse is offline.
Check the connection to your electricity meter
Make sure Pulse is correctly connected to your electricity meter's P1 or HAN port.
Some electricity meters require the data port to be activated by your grid operator before Pulse can read consumption data.
Without an active data port, Pulse can't display live electricity consumption.
I've just installed Pulse
It may take a few minutes for your first live consumption readings to appear after installation.
Wait a few minutes, then check the Tibber app again.
I can only see historical consumption data
If you can see historical consumption but no live readings, Tibber may only be receiving meter data through your grid operator.
Check that Pulse is online and correctly connected to your home in the Tibber app.
I still can't see live consumption
If live consumption data is still missing while Pulse is online, contact Support below or via the chat in the app.
Please include:
- The brand and model of your electricity meter.
- The status of Pulse in the Tibber app.
- The colour or blinking pattern of the Pulse LED.
This helps us identify the issue more quickly.
