Is your car's battery status no longer updating in the Tibber app? This can happen for several reasons, such as changes to the manufacturer's connection or expired account access.
You can often fix this by reconnecting your car.
Reconnecting your car
- Open the Tibber app and go to Power-ups.
- Select your connected car.
- Choose Disconnect.
- Go back to Power-ups and select your car's brand again.
- Select Connect and sign in with your car manufacturer's account.
Once reconnected, Tibber should be able to retrieve your car's battery status and other available information again.
Still not working?
Check the following:
- Manufacturer's app: Is it working correctly, and does it show your car's current battery level?
- Account or subscription: Is any subscription required for the manufacturer's connected services still active?
- Known issues: Visit status.tibber.com to check for reported issues affecting your car's brand.
Keep in mind that some manufacturers update vehicle data less frequently than others. It may take a little while for the latest information to appear in the Tibber app.
