Is your home battery not behaving as expected? First, check whether this is normal behavior. A home battery doesn't charge or discharge continuously. Its activity depends on your settings, current electricity prices and available solar energy.
My battery isn't charging
First, check that:
- Your battery is online.
- The connection to Tibber is active.
- Enough electricity is available to charge the battery.
Depending on your settings, Tibber may choose to charge your battery at a later time.
My battery isn't discharging
Your home battery only discharges when it fits your selected strategy and the capabilities of your system.
This means it's normal for your battery to remain charged at certain times, even when stored energy is available.
I can't see battery data in the Tibber app
Check that your battery is still correctly connected to Tibber and is online.
Still missing data? Check whether your battery is accessible through the manufacturer's app.
My battery isn't responding to changes
Some changes may take a few minutes to take effect. Wait a little while and check whether your battery has applied the new settings.
If the problem continues, check the manufacturer's app for any errors or warnings.
Still having problems?
If your battery still isn't behaving as expected, contact Support and include:
- Your battery's brand and model.
- What you expected your battery to do.
- What you're actually seeing in the Tibber app.
