Haven't paid your Tibber invoice by the due date? We'll first send you a payment reminder. If the invoice remains unpaid, it may be passed on to a debt collection partner.

What happens if I miss a payment?

If your invoice isn't paid on time, Tibber will send you a payment reminder by email, SMS or another available notification method.

If you pay the outstanding amount after receiving the reminder, no further action is needed.

If an automatic payment fails, you may need to pay the invoice manually.

I've received a reminder from a debt collection partner

If your invoice remains unpaid after our initial reminder, the case may be transferred to a debt collection partner.

Depending on your market, this could be eCollect, Intrum, Lowell or another authorised partner.

Once your invoice has been transferred:

• Follow the payment instructions provided by the debt collection partner.
• Use the payment reference shown in their reminder.
• Contact the partner directly if you have questions about the outstanding amount or need to arrange a payment plan.

Important: Don't pay Tibber directly once your invoice has been transferred, unless you've been specifically instructed to do so.

Will I be charged additional fees?

Additional fees may apply if your payment is late or an automatic payment fails.

These can include:

• Fees for failed automatic payments.
• Payment reminder fees.
• Debt collection fees.

The amounts and conditions depend on your country and applicable regulations.

What happens if I still don't pay?

If your invoice remains unpaid after several reminders, further debt collection steps may follow.

In some cases, continued non-payment can lead to the termination of your energy contract.

You'll be informed about the next steps and any applicable deadlines.

I can't pay my invoice

• After debt collection: Contact the debt collection partner directly to discuss payment arrangements.
