Connecting your solar panels to the Tibber app gives you insight into your solar production and lets you use smart energy features, such as Solar Charging.
How do I connect my solar panels?
Your solar panels connect to Tibber through your inverter or the manufacturer's monitoring platform.
- Open the Tibber app and go to Power-ups.
- Select your inverter's brand and follow the instructions to connect it.
- Depending on the brand, you'll need to sign in with your manufacturer's account or give Tibber permission to access your production data.
Why should I connect my solar panels?
Once connected, you may be able to:
- Monitor your solar production.
- Use Solar Charging, if supported.
- Compare your solar production with your electricity consumption.
Available features depend on your inverter.
My inverter isn't listed
Not all inverters support a connection to Tibber. If your inverter isn't supported, you currently can't connect your solar panels.
My solar production isn't updating
Check that:
- Your inverter is online.
- The connection to the manufacturer is still active.
- You're signed in with the correct account.
Still not seeing production data? Check whether it's available in the manufacturer's app.
